Job Summary:
EEG Technologist (Registered) position in a short-term acute care facility. This role involves performing electroencephalogram (EEG) procedures across various patient age groups including neonates, adolescents, infants, and adults. The assignment requires flexibility to float between units and adherence to a rotating schedule with on-call responsibilities. The selected candidate will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality neurodiagnostic testing.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Days, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license with a compact license in hand at submission; at least 1 year of experience performing EEG procedures, including adult inpatient, ambulatory EEG, long-term monitoring/video monitoring, portable recording, sleep EEG, and operating electromyographic equipment in accordance with SOP (Standard Operating Procedures).
• Preferred Qualifications: ABRET Certified EEG Technologist (preferred but not required).
• Float: Float rotation may be required between units and nearby facilities.
• Additional Responsibilities: Must be available for on-call duties approximately every 6 to 8 weeks, including rotating weekdays and weekends. Work schedule includes Wednesday through Saturday, 0730 to 1600. Candidates must commit to working three of the five major holidays.
• Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics.
• Other Unit Details: The role involves calibration, operation, and troubleshooting of electromyographic equipment, supporting interdisciplinary teams, and complying with institutional procedures for patient care and safety.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must respond to prior work experience at a Providence facility, provide two references covering 1 year within the last 3 years, and confirm availability for all scheduled shifts and on-call duties.
