THRYVE of Burbank is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Burbank, IL. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients. Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate respiratory care plans for patients with a variety of respiratory problems, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and direct patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures

• Monitor patients' vital signs and respiratory status, and report any changes or concerns to physicians and other healthcare professionals

• Perform various respiratory therapies, including intubation, mechanical ventilation, and oxygen therapy

• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field

• Current Respiratory Therapy certification (CRT/RRT) and state licensure

• 1 year of experience in Respiratory Therapy in a SNF setting

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, and to stand for long periods
