Cleans and maintains the appearance of the FOH and BOH casino areas, restrooms, outer buildings, RV Park, and other areas as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Responsibilities:

• Cleans trash cans and ash trays
• Vacuums carpeted areas
• Sweeps and mops tile, brick, and concrete areas
• Picks up dirty cups and glasses on the casino floor
• Polishes furniture and fixtures
• Operates and maintains light equipment necessary to perform job functions to include vacuums
• Perform laundry/linen receipt and distribution duties
• Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same
• Performs the duties of a Services & Retail Room Attendant as needed
• Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

Required

• Professional appearance as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook
• Able to work both independently and as a member of a team
• A record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment

Preferred

• General knowledge of cleaning processes and cleaning chemicals

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

• Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations
• Must be able to reach above and below the shoulder, grip small items, bend, and stoop while performing essential job functions
• Stand and walk for up to eight hours
• No known allergic reaction to cleaning chemicals
• Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, bright lights
• Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment
• Respond to visual and aural cues
• Must have basic English communication skills
• Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations
• Must be able to meet the level two or light work requirements based on the Department of Labor Dictionary of Titles: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently. Required walking or standing to a significant degree; or requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls.
