Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) for a 13-week acute care hospital assignment in Eureka, CA, with Epic EMR experience required and on-call responsibilities included.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting with 150 staffed beds
• X-Ray department
• Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• On-call is required for this position
• Floating between like units and facilities within the state is required
• Charting is performed in Epic (experience required)
• Free parking provided; assignment parking details given during orientation

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• Active CA Radiology license required (license required if applicable)
• Current ARRT (R), Fluoroscopy Permit, and BLS required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Pending licenses are not accepted
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting are required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted for this position
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront at the time of submission; post-offer RTO requests may be denied
• Black scrubs are required for the Radiology department
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Block schedule requests are subject to manager discretion
