Machine Operator
Lewiston, ME
$20-$25/hr (DOE)
We're seeking a dependable Machine Operator to join our team in Lewiston, Maine. This hands-on role involves reading blueprints, setting up and operating production equipment, performing secondary machining operations, inspecting parts for quality, and assisting with general carpentry tasks.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of machine operation experience, including press brake operation
- Welding experience preferred
- Industrial metal fabrication or machine shop experience is a strong plus
- Strong math and measurement skills
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, prints, and job orders
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Lift and move 50-70 lbs intermittently as needed
