Speech Language Pathologist

Position Overview The Exceptional Child Educational Cooperative is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026/27 school year. Salary is competitive with good benefits. This position may be full or part‑time. Responsibilities Provide direct therapy and assessment/evaluation services to students. Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations. Develop and implement educationally relevant goals and objectives based on individual communication needs. Diagnose specific speech/language disorders and schedule therapy. Plan and carry out Individual Education Plans (IEPs) as part of the interdisciplinary team. Consult with students, parents, and professionals regarding progress. Attend or conduct eligibility reviews and IEP meetings. Complete IEP paperwork. Qualifications Master’s degree or higher in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Hold or be eligible for Missouri Board of Healing Arts certification in Speech Language Pathology. Demonstrated knowledge and competence in language, articulation/phonology, voice, fluency, and comprehensive evaluation processes. Ability to develop educationally relevant goals and objectives. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Salary and Contract Salary range for licensed SLP: $60,500 – $80,702 for a 9‑month contract. Contact Ms. Jennifer Johnson, Cooperative Director.
