Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–2:30 PM
Contract: 8 months with potential for full-time conversion

About the Role
We are looking for a Service Desk Specialist to join the Data Center Operations team. This role is the first point of contact for employees needing technical assistance with laptops, applications, accounts, and access.
The ideal candidate has strong customer service and call center experience , is comfortable troubleshooting technical issues over the phone, and has hands-on experience with Active Directory, Okta, and ServiceNow .
Key Responsibilities
- Provide inbound technical support, handling approximately 8–20 calls per day .
- Troubleshoot common issues including:
- Account lockouts
- Password resets
- Authentication issues
- Application access
- Use Okta as the primary identity/access management tool.
- Create, update, and manage service tickets using ServiceNow .
- Support new employee onboarding, terminations, and application-access requests.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, VPN, and application issues.
- Create and maintain Service Desk documentation and knowledge articles.
- Provide a positive, professional customer experience while resolving issues efficiently.
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous IT Service Desk, Help Desk, Technical Support, or Call Center experience.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Experience with Active Directory and/or LDAP .
- Experience with Okta or similar identity/access management tools.
- Experience with ServiceNow or another ticketing system .
- Windows 10/11 troubleshooting experience.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, applications, and VPN issues.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Positive, upbeat attitude with the ability to take initiative.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with using AI tools to improve productivity and workflows is a plus.
