Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) travel assignment in Cambridge, MA, starting 11/16/2026 for 13 weeks. 12-hour rotating shifts (Day/Night), 3x12, with every-other weekend coverage. Weekly pay range $2,952–$2,981 per week. Guaranteed hours: 72 biweekly. Hospital setting; Epic EMR experience is required.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside nursing care to obstetric patients in labor, delivery, and postpartum units
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, interpret fetal heart rate patterns, and respond to changes promptly
- Administer medications and manage analgesia in labor (including induction/augmentation as ordered); assist with epidural administration and other analgesia as applicable
- Assist with deliveries (vaginal and cesarean) and provide newborn care following birth; support immediate postpartum stabilization
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and ancillary staff; document accurately in the Epic EMR and maintain thorough patient records
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to quality metrics; respond to obstetric emergencies as part of a multidisciplinary team

Requirements
- Active Massachusetts registered nurse license
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Fetal Certification – Advanced
- Epic EMR experience required
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts and every other weekend; ability to thrive in a fast-paced obstetric environment
