Job Title: Concierge

Location: Washington D.C.

Pay Range: $20 - $25 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a professional, customer-focused Concierge to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, guests, tenants, and employees. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, maintain a welcoming environment, and assist with a variety of administrative and hospitality-related tasks. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests, visitors, and employees in a friendly and professional manner.
• Manage front desk operations and maintain a welcoming reception area.
• Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly.
• Coordinate visitor check-ins, issue guest passes, and ensure security procedures are followed.
• Provide information regarding building amenities, local attractions, transportation, dining options, and services.
• Schedule reservations, meeting rooms, and special requests as needed.
• Receive and distribute packages, deliveries, and correspondence.
• Assist with event coordination and tenant or guest service requests.
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports.
• Resolve guest concerns and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Collaborate with management and other departments to ensure a high-quality customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience in concierge, hospitality, front desk, customer service, reception, or administrative support roles preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and remain professional under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends if required.

Preferred Skills

• Hospitality or luxury service experience.
• Experience with visitor management systems.
• Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of the Washington D.C. area and local resources.
