Business Development Coordinator

What you’ll do Lead pre‑qualification submissions and support pursuit teams with technical and non‑technical proposal materials. Maintain a library of standard company and department assets and project files. Maintain internal databases, conduct data entry and support data integrity for the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Assist with and coordinate preconstruction activities throughout the sales process. Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers. The duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing and other duties will be assigned based on the role within the business unit. What you’ll need to be successful Able to organize and coordinate a heavy workload of overlapping priorities and deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) and Adobe Acrobat. Experience with Adobe CC (specifically InDesign) at a beginner level or higher. Experience working in a CRM; preferably Salesforce. Candidate must demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, a proactive approach to problem solving, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to work professionally and reliably under tight deadlines. Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to be self‑motivated, proactive, and a team player. Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, vendors, clients, and others. What you bring to us Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience. Minimum two years of experience working in a construction, architectural, or engineering firm (highly preferred). Combination of education, training, and relevant experience is acceptable. Travel 10 – 25% Working conditions General work environment: sitting for extended periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning. Noise level is typically low to medium; it can be loud on a job site. Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
