Our organization is in search of a full-time faculty member to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology , specifically within the Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) division. Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver maternal fetal medicine services that include:
- High-risk ultrasounds
- Prenatal consultations
- Antepartum care
- Work within the Albany Med Faculty Physician Group and its associated inpatient facilities.
- Educate and guide medical students, residents , and MFM fellows .
- Engage in scholarly activities , with chances for regional and national presentations and publications.
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG).
- Eligible for New York State medical licensure .
- Demonstrated clinical expertise with a focus on:

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology encompasses five clinical divisions, including General Obstetrics and Gynecology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, Family Planning, and Urogynecology. The department supports 24 residents and 3 MFM fellows (one per year). The MFM division conducts fetal echocardiography, amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, and other advanced procedures.
