Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: CPI or HWC preferred; BLS required Must-Have Skills/Experience: Certification with Handle with Care is beneficial but will provide training. Experience with behavioral health patient populations preferred. Description: Candidates must have either CPI or HWC to be considered. The position is located in a facility dedicated to behavioral health. The hospital features various specialized departments, including brain, cancer, and heart care. Inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services are available. The behavioral health unit consists of multiple beds. Patients may present with conditions such as schizophrenia, dementia, manic bipolar disorder, psychosis, dual diagnosis issues, medical detox, depression, and anxiety disorders. The unit operates with various staffing ratios to ensure adequate patient care. Equipment utilized includes electronic health records. Additional training may be provided for new hires.
