Airgas is Hiring for a DELIVERY DRIVER, CDL A in Salt Lake City, UT! We are looking for you!

• Pay: $31-$34/Hr.

• Referral Bonus: $1000.00

• Schedule: Monday to Friday with the occasional weekendstarting at 2am-5am.(2-3 layovers per week, Per Diem provided)

• Routes: Salt Lake City and surrounding areas, Cortez, Co and Cheyenne Wyoming(8-14 stops per day)

• Equipment: CDL A trucks will be used

Distribution Branches are located in strategic locations throughout the country to provide service to key industries including universities and labs. Quality, reliability, and service are the core principles that enable Airgas to grow with organizations who depend on dry ice and cold shipping supplies.

• Safely navigate delivery vehicles to provide dry ice to our customers' places of business.

• Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment to carefully load and unload dry ice.

• Obtain customer signature , ensure piece count matches load manifest, and collect empty dry ice boxes to be returned to the plant and/or branch, ensuring a seamless service cycle .

• Provide customer service and foster understanding by sharing feedback from customers with the Branch Manager to improve our collective service.

• Conduct thorough pre and post trip reviews on trucks according to DOT and company maintenance guidelines. Maintain a clean and professional environment inside the vehicle.

• Uphold all company policies, safety standards, and DOT/OSHA requirements to ensure a secure workplace for everyone .

• Ensure cargo stability and safety prior to and during transit.

________________________Are you a MATCH? Required Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL & Airbrake endorsements

• Must be able and licensed to drive a standard transmission

• Maintain appropriate driver's license, medical card & endorsement

• Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or be able able to provide proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 5 years.

• No more than two (2) traffic convictions: OR two (2) at-fault accident in the last 3 years; or no more than a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last 3 years

• No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven (7) years

• Must be able to work in a drug-free environment

• Be able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with the aid of material handling equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Forklift Certification

• Pallet Jack Certification

• 2 years of route driver experience
