Responsibilities

The Cancer Care Liaison is responsible for providing information, support, encouragement, and assistance in overcoming barriers for patients and caregivers in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure access to high quality patient-centered care throughout the continuum. The Cancer Care Liaison works under the supervision of the assigned Coordinator.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree and one year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Ability to read and interpret medical terminology.

Preferred:

• Experience in a patient care clinical or medical environment; oncology-related experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Computer experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Internet Explorer.

Work Hours:

8am-4:30pm
