If you're ready to build a rewarding career with a team dedicated to service and excellence, we invite you to apply today!DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?This is a full-time position, with shifts varying based on operational needs and scheduled within regular business hours.As our Maintenance Assistant, you'll review assignments from the Maintenance Chief and helping keep facility operations running at peak performance. You'll assist with preventative maintenance inspections, vehicle inspections, plumbing and electrical repairs, painting projects, groundskeeping tasks, and facility improvements. You'll also monitor contractors working within the secure perimeter, oversee detainee work crews on approved projects, maintain accurate inspection and inventory records, and ensure all tools and equipment are properly secured.To do this, we're looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentValid Virginia driver's licenseOSHA 10 Certification (pre-hire or post-hire)Basic computer skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to maintain confidentialityAbility to interpret and apply regulations, policies, and proceduresAbility to lift 25+ lbsAbility to stand for extended periods and work in varying temperaturesAbility to operate tools, equipment, and machineryComfortable working in confined spacesAbility to work independently and follow directionsPrevious maintenance experience is preferred.READY TO APPLY?Take the next step in your career as our Maintenance Assistant and join a team that values professionalism, reliability, and growth.
