Position Summary We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) who is caring, attentive, and committed to high-quality clinical care. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met in a safe and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans, standards, and facility policies. Conduct thorough resident assessments and document findings accurately. Develop, implement, and revise individualized nursing care plans. Administer medications and treatments safely and according to orders. Monitor and record changes in resident condition; promptly communicate significant changes to the care team and providers. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation therapists, social workers, dieticians, and families. Supervise and support licensed practical nurses (LPNs), certified nursing assistants (CNAs), and other care staff. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and participate in quality improvement activities. Educate residents and families on care needs, medications, and safety practices. Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge planning. Promote a therapeutic, respectful, and caring environment for residents and families. Qualifications Required Current and valid RN license in the state of New York. CPR/BLS certification. Prior experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing preferred. Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills. Preferred Experience with electronic medical records (EMR). Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor clinical team members.
