Lift Maintenance Manager

Greek Peak Mountain Resort is seeking a skilled and motivated Lift Maintenance Manager to oversee the safe and efficient operation of all lift systems. This hands‑on leadership role is responsible for managing lift maintenance operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and upholding the highest standards of safety and reliability. Position Overview The Lift Maintenance Manager will oversee the maintenance and operation of: 6 aerial lifts 3 surface lifts What You’ll Do Supervise and manage a team of 3 lift mechanics Oversee all maintenance and repair work on aerial and surface lifts Develop and enforce preventative maintenance schedules Ensure compliance with all state and industry safety regulations Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs as needed Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation Collaborate with mountain operations teams Assist with lift start‑up, shutdown, and seasonal transitions Maintain parts inventory and coordinate ordering What You Bring Prior experience in lift maintenance and repair (required) Experience with Hall chairlifts strongly preferred Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex mechanical issues Familiarity with ANSI B77 standards is a plus Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Preferred Extras Previous experience in a ski resort or mountain operations environment Familiarity with lift maintenance standards, regulatory compliance, and safety inspections Passion for hands‑on problem solving, team development, and continuous improvement Why Join Greek Peak Scenic & inspiring workplace: Work in the heart of a four‑season resort, surrounded by mountains, adventure, and hospitality Hands‑on leadership role: Lead critical lift operations that directly impact safety and guest experience Make a lasting impact: Help ensure reliable, safe lift operations that keep the mountain running smoothly Competitive compensation & perks: Enjoy resort privileges, wellness discounts, and professional development support #J-18808-Ljbffr
