Responsibilities Guide a teaching team to create plans, goals, and lead hands‑on activities to meet the needs and interests of the 4- and 5-year-old children in your classroom Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child’s daily milestones Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines Qualifications Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED At least 90 credits toward bachelor’s degree in early childhood education is required NYS Teaching Certification (B-2, N-6, 1-6, Special Education) or study plan eligibility is preferred 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred Per NYU Langone, Flu Vaccine by October 15th is required Be part of a community where people grow, futures are shaped, and lives are changed. This position requires in-person work in the Manhattan, New York area. Hourly Rate and Other Compensation Disclosures The hourly rate for this position is between $23.00 – $28.10 per hour. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors. This position is also eligible for hiring incentive of $1,500 payable after 100 days of employment.
