Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 3 years required License: Must have valid nursing license prior to start date Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Trauma Level I experience required - Ability to circulate is required; scrubbing is preferred - Must be well-rounded and current in most areas, except CV & Transplant Description: We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the operating room setting. Trauma Level I experience is necessary for this position. The nurse will be required to circulate during surgeries; scrub experience is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should be flexible and willing to float within the facility as needed. Shift will be a day shift working 4 ten-hour days from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. This position may include call shifts and holiday coverage. The average daily census in the operating room is between 70 to 80 patients. We require candidates to work 2 out of 3 major holidays. This position is suitable for well-rounded OR nurses except for CV & Transplant areas. The unit handles a variety of surgical specialties including general, plastic, GYN, ENT, trauma, neuro, ortho, GU, and colorectal robotics. Candidates must provide 2-3 days of interview availability upon submission. All candidates must have BLS certification. A floating requirement is implemented to meet the needs of the facility.
