Substitute CustodianSchool City of Hobart is seeking substitute custodians to cover building and event needs as assigned. The position supports a clean, safe, sanitary, and orderly school environment.Key responsibilities include performing routine custodial duties, cleaning and sanitizing school spaces, assisting with building cleanliness, operating custodial equipment, and monitoring building conditions.Minimum requirements are a high school diploma or GED, ability to follow cleaning schedules and safety instructions, and the ability to communicate professionally. Preferred experience includes prior custodial or related work.Salary and benefits are defined in the School City of Hobart's substitute pay schedule. This position is not eligible for retirement or health insurance benefits.Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
