Description: The Surgical Tech will work in the operating room. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience. Previous travel experience is preferred. BLS certification is required. National certification is not required. The candidate will be involved in various surgical procedures. Call responsibilities are included in this role. The Surgical Tech will support the surgical team. The role requires skills in assisting with a variety of surgeries. Flexibility to float to like units as needed is expected. The daily census in the unit averages around 30 patients. The environment involves interdisciplinary support teams. The candidate will be expected to adapt to diverse patient diagnoses. Special equipment and procedures typical to the unit will be utilized. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth.
