Capitol River Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and organized Staffing Coordinator (CNA Required) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team in Jefferson City, Missouri.

This position plays a vital role in ensuring quality resident care through effective nursing staff scheduling, payroll coordination, staffing support, and communication with clinical team members. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and understands the importance of maintaining proper staffing levels in a long-term care setting.

• Create and maintain nursing department schedules with at least four (4) weeks posted in advance
• Coordinate staffing coverage for vacations, holidays, call-ins, and open shifts
• Maintain staffing levels in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Monitor overtime, attendance, absences, PTO, and staffing changes
• Verify and reconcile nursing payroll and timekeeping records
• Update employee scheduling data and maintain accurate staffing documentation
• Assist with orientation scheduling and onboarding support for new nursing staff
• Respond professionally to staffing and scheduling concerns and help resolve issues promptly
• Complete daily nursing hours and staffing reports
• Maintain schedules within scheduling software and company systems
• Support staff retention by promoting efficient and fair scheduling practices
• Assist with resident appointment scheduling when needed
• Provide direct resident care within CNA scope of practice as needed
• Participate in after-hours on-call scheduling support using facility-issued phone

• Current CNA certification required in the state of Missouri
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of one (1) year of long-term care or skilled nursing experience required
• Previous staffing or scheduling experience preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced healthcare setting
