Job Details Specialty: Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/01/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 40 hours Shift: 8 hours, evenings Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients providing reassurance and support as required. Follow orders from physicians regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging. Correctly position the patient and adjust the imaging equipment to the appropriate position. Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure to yourself and the patient by taking appropriate protective precautions. Calibrate imaging equipment. Prepare results for physician review. Qualifications & Requirements Must have 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist. BLS certification. ARRT (R) National Certification. State-specific licensing as required. Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
