Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 24 months of current Pediatric Intensive Care experience required License: Active Iowa license or compact multistate license required Certifications: BLS, PALS Must-Have: - Must be willing to float to NICU and ED as needed - Experience with equipment including vents, high flow, alaris IV pumps, and feeding pumps is highly preferred - EPIC EMR experience required Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. This position requires a nurse with a minimum of 24 months of pediatric intensive care experience. The nurse must be willing to float to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit or Emergency Department when required. The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit features a state-of-the-art design with private patient rooms. Staff members have access to medical expertise and equipment for critically ill or injured children and teens. Family-centered care is prioritized in this environment, with amenities for family members included. Candidates must possess an active Iowa nursing license or a compact multistate license at the time of submission. Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are required. Candidates will be quickly assessed through an interview process.
