Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as an LMFT, you will be responsible for a wide range of activities that are crucial to the mental wellness of families and individuals, including:

  • Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of couples, families, and individuals.

  • Facilitating therapy sessions that involve both couples and family members to strengthen interpersonal relationships.

  • Providing psychoeducation and support for a variety of issues, such as alcohol and substance abuse, family conflicts, grief and loss, and communication difficulties.

  • Tracking and documenting client progress to ensure the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions.

  • Utilizing evidence-based practices and therapy models that best suit the client's situation.
  • \n
  • Staying informed of developments within the field to continually enhance your therapeutic skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your practice will encompass a diverse range of clients, including but not limited to:

  • Couples experiencing marital conflict or seeking premarital counseling.
  • \n
  • Families dealing with dynamics such as blended families, parenting challenges, and intergenerational conflict.
  • \n
  • Individuals coping with grief, trauma, and emotional distress associated with life transitions, including divorce and separation.
  • \n
  • Ages from children to seniors, with specialized approaches tailored to each age group's needs.

Qualifications\n

To be a successful candidate for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Current and active LMFT licensure in the state of Florida.
  • \n
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or a relevant field.

Preferred Experience\n

We look for candidates with a strong background in family therapy and experience in a clinical environment. Ideal applicants will possess:
