Child Care Center Director (Salary up to $90K)

Role Description The Child Care Center Director is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Maple Grove, MN. The Director oversees daily operations of the center, including staff scheduling, classroom coverage, and ensuring child-to-staff ratios and safety standards are met. Responsibilities include supervising and coaching teaching staff, supporting training and professional development, and maintaining compliance with state licensing regulations and center policies. The Director manages enrollment, parent communication, and family engagement initiatives, including tours, conferences, and feedback meetings. Additional duties include budgeting support, record-keeping, coordinating health and safety procedures, and working with families and staff to address individual child needs and care plans. Qualifications Background in Nursing or child health services, with the ability to collaborate on health plans and support safe care practices. Experience in Case Management or coordinating services, ideally in a childcare, educational, or family-focused setting. Understanding of Critical Care Medicine or pediatric health considerations, with the capacity to respond to health-related concerns and emergencies in partnership with medical professionals. Demonstrated Training skills, including onboarding, mentoring, and developing staff in curriculum, safety, and compliance. General knowledge of Medicine or health protocols relevant to child care environments, including immunization and illness policies. Proven leadership experience in an early childhood education or child care center, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, families, staff, and regulatory agencies. Familiarity with state child care licensing requirements and best practices in early childhood education.
