Human Resources Business Partner

Salary: $95,000 – $120,000 annually Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Human Resources Business Partner to join a well-established manufacturing organization in MA.

This position will play a key role in supporting daily HR operations, strengthening employee relations, and partnering with leadership to foster a positive, productive workplace. The ideal candidate is a proactive HR professional who enjoys working directly with employees, providing guidance to management, and being actively involved in both office and manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted HR advisor to managers and employees on workplace policies, employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
• Manage employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, investigations, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Oversee payroll administration, processing, and reporting for hourly and salaried employees.
• Support compensation reviews, benefits administration, job descriptions, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with hiring managers and recruiting teams on talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee development.
• Develop and implement employee engagement, training, and retention initiatives.
• Monitor attendance, leaves of absence, and compliance with federal and state employment regulations.
• Partner with leadership to promote workplace safety, consistent HR practices, and a positive company culture.
• Maintain a visible and approachable HR presence throughout the organization, including the manufacturing floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong background in employee relations, payroll administration, performance management, and HR compliance.
• Solid understanding of federal and Massachusetts employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment.
• PHR or SPHR certification preferred.

Work Schedule

• Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:45 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Compensation & Benefits

Annual Salary: $95,000 – $120,000, based on experience and qualifications.
