Registered Nurse RN Home Infusion Specialty Infusion PRNBrightStar Care of Camden and Cherry Hill is a licensed New Jersey Health Care Service Firm providing RN-led skilled nursing and specialty infusion services throughout Camden County. Every patient receives individualized care under the supervision of our Director of Nursing. We are expanding our home infusion program and are seeking experienced Registered Nurses who are passionate about delivering safe, high-quality infusion therapy in patients' homes.Position Summary: BrightStar Care is seeking an experienced Home Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialty infusion services including IVIG, biologics, immunoglobulin therapy, hydration therapy, IV antibiotics, and other provider-prescribed infusion medications in patients' homes. The ideal candidate has excellent peripheral IV skills, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to independently manage prolonged infusion visits while following physician orders, pharmacy protocols, BrightStar Care clinical policies, and New Jersey nursing regulations. Assignments may include 4–8 hour infusion visits, recurring weekly or monthly schedules, and a variety of specialty infusion therapies.Responsibilities:Perform nursing assessments before each infusion visitVerify physician orders, medication, dosage, and pharmacy instructionsEstablish and maintain peripheral IV access using aseptic techniqueAdminister prescribed medications, pre-medications, and hydration therapyProgram and monitor infusion pumps (Curlin, CADD, Sapphire, or equivalent)Safely administer IVIG and other specialty infusion medicationsMonitor patients throughout treatment, including vital signs and infusion toleranceRecognize and appropriately respond to infusion-related reactions or emergenciesEducate patients and caregivers regarding medications, side effects, hydration, and follow-up careCommunicate significant clinical findings to the Director of Nursing, prescribing provider, and specialty pharmacyComplete accurate clinical documentation in compliance with physician orders, payer requirements, and agency policiesQualifications Required:Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standingMinimum 2 years of RN clinical experienceCurrent BLS CertificationStrong peripheral IV insertion skillsExcellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skillsReliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Camden CountyAbility to work independently in patients' homesPreferred:Home infusion nursing experienceExperience with IV therapy or specialty infusion nursingExperience administering IVIG, biologics, IV antibiotics, or hydration therapyExperience using infusion pumpsExperience caring for patients with PICC lines, Midlines, Implanted Ports, and Peripheral IVsCRNI® certification is welcomed but not requiredCurrent Opportunity: We currently have an immediate specialty infusion assignment offering:Approximately 8-hour weekday infusion visitsRecurring scheduleOne-on-one patient care in the homeWhat We Offer:Competitive W-2 compensation ($50–$60/hour based on experience)Weekly pay via direct depositMileage reimbursement between patient visits in accordance with IRS guidelinesFlexible PRN schedulingPaid orientation and infusion-specific trainingOngoing clinical education and competency developmentDirector of Nursing clinical supportProfessional liability insurance coverageOpportunity to help build and grow a specialty home infusion programWhy Join BrightStar Care?
