Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Entry-Level Stick Welder to join a growing manufacturing team in Tulsa. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to begin a career in welding while gaining hands-on experience in a professional fabrication environment.

The ideal candidate has a basic understanding of Stick Welding (SMAW), can read blueprints and a tape measure, and is eager to learn and develop their welding skills.

Required Experience & Skills
• Basic knowledge of Stick Welding (SMAW)
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and drawings
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Perform entry-level stick welding using SMAW processes
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Measure materials accurately using a tape measure
• Assist with fabrication and production tasks as assigned
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and required PPE guidelines
• Support production goals while developing welding skills

Weld Test Requirement

Candidates must successfully complete the following weld test:

1G Stick Weld Test (SMAW)

Preferred Qualifications
• Welding school or vocational training preferred
• Previous shop or fabrication experience is a plus
• Basic knowledge of fabrication tools and equipment
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced welders

Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to safely wear required welding PPE for extended periods
• Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment

• Industrial fabrication facility

• Exposure to welding equipment, heat, sparks, fumes, and metal materials
