Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students' communication development. This role is ideal for a skilled School Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) eager to make a tangible difference in a vibrant educational environment. You’ll work across two elementary settings, collaborating closely with certified SLPs and educational teams throughout the school year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active SLPA license and certification; please include your cert/license number with your application.
  • Experience in a school-based environment preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload of up to 60 students.
  • Collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for fostering student success.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy to students, implementing individualized education program (IEP) goals under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Support the assessment process by preparing materials and collecting data on student progress.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and other support staff to facilitate student inclusion and communication.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation as required.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP discussions as needed.

This position serves a caseload of approximately 50-60 students across Centerview and Northpoint Elementary. The assignment begins August 31 and continues through June 4, aligned with the school calendar and offering 37.5 working hours per week.
