Monday-Friday, 7:15 AM - 4:15 PM with additional availability as needed

We are seeking a professional and dependable armed security officer to join a client site in Monroe, NC. The ideal candidate will maintain a visible security presence, provide exceptional customer service to visitors and staff, and uphold the highest standards of professionalism while ensuring a safe and secure environment.


This position requires an individual who can effectively balance security responsibilities with a welcoming and approachable demeanor. Officers must consistently present a professional image and serve as a positive representative of our company and our client.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain a highly visible security presence
- Monitor premises to prevent and detect signs of unauthorized activity
- Conduct exterior checks and routine patrols of assigned areas
- Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and client concerns
- Prepare accurate and detailed incident reports and daily activity logs
- Enforce client policies and site-specific procedures
- Maintain professional appearance, conduct, and communication at all times
- Work additional hours, shifts, or assignments as operational needs require

Minimum Qualifications:
- Must possess current registration as an Armed Security Guard with NC PPSB
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass all required background checks and drug screening
- Ability to respond quickly to emergencies and perform security-related duties as required

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior armed security experience strongly preferred
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, corrections, or military service strong preferred
