The facility is a 250-bed academic community hospital serving the region for over 120 years. It is the region's only designated Chest Pain Center and Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center. The facility offers comprehensive surgical services, 24-hour emergency department services, and a variety of specialized care programs. The Medical Surgical unit consists of 24 beds with a patient ratio of 1:6. The patient population served includes all ages. The hiring profile prefers candidates with 2+ years of Med/Surg experience. Expected traits include professionalism and strong work ethic. Dress code is scrubs; casual wear is not permitted. Resources available include an advanced wound healing center, cardiac rehabilitation center, and multiple surgical services.
