The HVAC Technician will work directly with customers, managers, and sales teams while ensuring rental equipment is properly installed, tested, maintained, and ready for use.Job ResponsibilitiesDeliver and install portable HVAC and climate control equipment at customer locationsTrain customers and authorized operators on the safe use of equipmentTroubleshoot and repair HVAC and climate control equipmentUnderstand the operation, specifications, capabilities, and controls of rental equipmentInstall flexible gas hose for propane and natural gas applicationsSafely inspect and verify gas connectionsClean, test, and inspect returned equipment to ensure proper operation and appearanceComplete paperwork for deliveries, pickups, installations, and service callsMaintain accurate equipment records, serial numbers, and rental trackingCommunicate professionally with customers, managers, and sales engineersSafely operate company vehicles and follow all company safety proceduresSupport emergency service calls through a rotating on-call schedulePerform general shop duties and assist with equipment preparation and maintenanceQualifications3-5 years of formal HVAC experience or trainingHVAC certificate preferredExperience troubleshooting and repairing climate control equipmentStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsBasic math skillsAbility to safely work with propane and natural gas connectionsValid driver's license with a clean driving recordAbility to work some evenings and weekends during peak periodsStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to work independently while following established safety procedures
