Bilingual Mortgage Loan Processor

The Mortgage Loans Processor is accountable for a pipeline of residential mortgage loan applications from the time that the application has been completed to closing. The Processor collects information needed for the Underwriter to render a credit decision, reviews stipulations for accuracy (income, assets, insurance, etc.), and orders third‑party services such as title insurance, appraisals, and verification of employment. The processor also ensures compliance with regulatory disclosure timelines and underwriting guidelines. Job Responsibilities Manage a pipeline of loans efficiently and deliver an excellent customer experience. Proactively gather and review underwriting documentation from applicants and third parties. Submit underwriting conditions to the Underwriter in a timely manner. Review conditions received from customers and third parties to ensure they are properly addressed. Identify missing or erroneous information in loan files. Maintain all required documentation in the loan origination system. Communicate mortgage loan status with Mortgage Loan Originators and applicants. Follow up on the regular pipeline according to company standards. Ensure mortgage insurance is obtained where applicable. Review loan documentation to confirm compliance with underwriting conditions. Process and close, at minimum the expected number of loans each month. Communicate in writing and verbally with internal partners, third parties, and applicants. Ensure loans are cleared to close by the Underwriter within division SLAs and customer expectations. Escalate loans requiring attention to management. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience. Minimum of 2 years mortgage processing experience. Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred. Strong understanding of the mortgage process flow. Excellent organizational skills. Proactive problem‑solving track record. Ability to multi‑task in a high‑volume, high‑paced environment. Customer‑focused dedication to delivering a stellar experience. Understanding of residential mortgage products. General understanding of underwriting guidelines for product suite offerings. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Experience building strong internal and external partnerships. Proactive problem‑solving skills. Salary Range $42,289.00 - $69,475.00. Individual base pay may vary based on experience, education, location, and other factors.
