Cybersecurity Software Engineer - New Grad

Responsibilities

• Contribute to security assessments for existing and new products.
• Support the design and implementation of secure boot processes for embedded devices.
• Partner with hardware engineers to integrate HSM solutions into embedded systems.
• Help develop encryption, key management, and secure cryptographic operations.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, QA, and product teams to integrate security across the product development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Completed or in-progress BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with graduation expected in December 2026.
• Coursework, internship, research, or project experience in cybersecurity, embedded systems, or a related area.
• Foundational understanding of cryptographic principles, protocols, and algorithms.
• Proficiency in embedded-systems programming languages such as C, C++, or Python.
• Strong curiosity about cybersecurity and eagerness to develop expertise in secure boot, HSM integration, and BSP work.
• Exposure to FIPS 140-2 or Common Criteria through coursework or projects is a plus.
• Automotive embedded systems, ECUs, in-vehicle networks, AUTOSAR, automotive security standards, vehicle diagnostics, OTA updates, CTFs, security research, or embedded and IoT security experience is preferred.
