Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVICU Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Night/Day rotating shifts Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 18 months combined permanent experience in specialty required License: Permanent Ohio license or compact license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: MUST HAVE 18 months recent CVICU experience. Travel experience is acceptable. Traveler must work at least every other holiday. ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation, with an acceptable score required. Description: This position is for providing winter coverage in the CVICU. The role involves rotating shifts including nights and days. Shifts may be variable based on operational needs. An acceptable score on assessments is required during orientation, with a maximum of two attempts to pass. Travelers may remain on assignment for a maximum of 18 months, with a required 6-month break before returning unless approved. Modules are completed pre-start and annually with required annual billable hours. Additional testing may be required before the start of employment. Compliance with nicotine-free requirements is essential for certain travelers. Candidates must not have any open cases or license hits. References from a manager or supervisor within the specialty must be provided. All required certifications need to be active and in hand when submitted for consideration.
