Radiology Technician – Saint Joseph Health System (Indiana) The Saint Joseph Health System is a not‑for‑profit, multi‑hospital health system located in North Central Indiana. Mastery of radiographic equipment in the Main, E.R., and portable units; fluoroscopic equipment; and image‑viewing systems. Produces images of highest technical quality while adhering to ALARA principles. Handles imaging of pediatric, geriatric, trauma, and atypical patients with optimal quality and minimal discomfort. Assists radiologist during fluoroscopy and other examinations; prepares the patient and exam room. Administers oral, rectal, and IV contrast media; recognizes adverse reactions and acts appropriately. Explains all procedures to patients and manages patient/exam information via electronic systems. Job Specifications and Core Competencies Education: Graduate of a formal program in Radiologic Technology at an AMA‑approved school. Licensure: Current ARRT certification and Indiana State Department of Health X‑ray Operator Certificate; current BLS certification.
