Radiology - CT Tech

Under the direction of the Radiologist and Department Director, the Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic and CT procedures at a technical level that does not require constant supervision. The technologist utilizes ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis while also assuming responsibility for designated areas and procedures as required. Responsibilities Perform radiographic and CT procedures efficiently and accurately. Collaborate with Radiologists and departmental staff to ensure optimal patient care. Maintain responsibility for assigned areas and specific procedural tasks. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines related to ionizing radiation. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Graduate of an accredited high school or equivalent. Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology accredited by the ARRT. Registered technologist by the ARRT. Must hold a valid license as a technologist issued by the State of Montana and the Montana Board of Radiologic Technologists. Demonstrated knowledge relevant to the age of patients served. Schedule This position is a Day Shift role and does not require weekend work.
