Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to pregnant women, newborns, and gynecological surgical patients in an LDRP setting
• Perform obstetric triage and function as the primary delivery and newborn transition nurse
• Titrate drips including Pitocin and manage labor progression in accordance with AWHONN guidelines
• Monitor and interpret electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) using the OBIX system
• Serve as charge nurse as needed, taking a patient assignment as one of two nurses on shift
• Provide occasional floating assistance to med-surg as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (or eligibility) in the state of Colorado
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience with LDRP training
• Current ALS (ACLS) certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• AWHONN Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification
• Ability to triage OB patients and function independently as a delivery and newborn transition nurse

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a rural or critical access hospital environment
• Familiarity with the OBIX electronic fetal monitoring system
• Comfort working in a low-volume, high-acuity setting with limited ancillary support
