Skills We Look For

• Generally Medium to Senior Level (so someone who has been in IT at least 5 years or more) - 4 to 5

• Linux Skills is A must - 4 to 5

• Ticketing Systems – ServiceNow; JIRA - 4 to 5

• AWS hands-on experience (I don’t care so much for certificates rather hands on, but if it comes with a cert so be it)- not must but will help decide vs those who have no exposure at all (the more the better) – 3 to 4

• Ability to automate by scripting using python while perl or javascript will be acceptable as well (this is not MUST have but really #2 very nice to have after AWS use in real world). - At least 3 or more

• Use of Ops and DevOps tools is more than welcome – listing some in no particular order ranging from log analytic/monitoring/code management /host management/config management) like:

• Elastic Search/Kibana/Splunk -3 to 5
• Jenkins/Toad dB mgm tool/…etc. – at least 3
• Puppet or Chef – 2-3
• dB skills medium while no one will refuse senior – Oracle/ Postgres SQL/SQL someone who at least knows how to do inquires (not a db guy per say this is not db admin or operator position as you know) – 3 or more..ability to do queries
