Haven of Ridgeview is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing leadership team as our Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) . This leadership role works closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the Director of Nursing to oversee the daily operations of the nursing department

• Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing services while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations

• Serve as the facility's Infection Preventionist, developing, implementing, and monitoring the Infection Prevention and Control Program in accordance with CMS and CDC guidelines

• Conduct infection surveillance, investigate trends, educate staff, and lead infection prevention initiatives to reduce healthcare-associated infections

• Oversee the facility's Wound Care Program, including wound assessments, treatment recommendations, documentation, and monitoring resident progress

• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize wound healing and resident outcomes

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois (required)

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting required

• Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred

• Experience in infection prevention, wound care, or quality improvement preferred.
