Pizza Cook – Two Sons Pizza (Downtown Grand Rapids)

Pay: $20–$22/hour, based on experience
Job type: Full-time, 5 days/week, evenings and weekends required
Location: 67 Ottawa Ave SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503

Two Sons Pizza is a family-owned, East Coast–style pizzeria in downtown Grand Rapids. We make everything from scratch — 48-hour cold-fermented dough, house sauce, house-ground sausage — and bake in Pizzamaster deck ovens. We’re hiring a full-time pizza cook who can run the line and own the ovens.

What you’ll do

• Hand-stretch and build pies to spec on a high-volume line
• Run the deck ovens: manage multiple pies, bake times, and finish quality
• Open or close the kitchen independently — line setup, dough management, closing breakdown, and cleaning
• Keep the line stocked and organized through a rush
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards at all times
• Work as a team with front of house and prep

What we’re looking for

• Pizza line experience, ideally in a scratch kitchen with deck ovens
• Comfortable hand-stretching dough and working fast without losing consistency
• Able to close solo and hold standards without a manager over your shoulder
• Reliable, on time, and steady under pressure
• Availability for nights, weekends, and closing shifts
• Able to stand for full shifts and lift 50 lbs
• ServSafe a plus
