Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to identify mental health issues, utilizing standardized tools to formulate a clear understanding of clients' needs.

  • Develop personalized treatment plans that reflect clients’ specific goals, ensuring that plans are dynamic and adapt to changing needs throughout the therapeutic process.

  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions using proven evidence-based methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists and case managers, to design and implement holistic treatment strategies for clients.

  • Engage clients’ families, providing vital education and resources, fostering an environment in which families are active participants in the recovery journey.

  • Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of all client interactions in accordance with legal and ethical standards, employing electronic health record systems efficiently.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work at Summit will focus on a diverse array of clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals from multiple cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, enhancing your cultural competence and understanding of diverse perspectives in mental health. Your ability to build rapport will be crucial in supporting clients’ journeys toward recovery and wellness.

Qualifications\n

  • A current and valid license in Colorado as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Doctor of Psychology.

  • A master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

  • Demonstrated effectiveness in serving clients in mental health therapy and understanding of treatment modalities appropriate for a variety of diagnoses.

Preferred Experience\n
