Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

Experience Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to operate cranes and overhead hoists
• Ability to use quality inspection equipment

Job Duties

• Follow safety and environmental procedures.
• Come to work on time every day, as scheduled.
• Proficient communication skills.
• Accurately read and use quality tools to ensure quality parts. Compare parts to blueprint to ensure they meet standards and specifications to verify product quality.
• Use a computer to enter part information/inventory in the ERP system.
• Set up, program, and operate Press Brake equipment.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance, repair, and setup to keep Press Brake running smoothly and reduce downtime.
• Examine parts during the production process.
• Set up light barriers to ensure safety.
• Execute the scheduling board.
• Ability to use a motorized walking stacker.

What You Will Do


As a Brake Press Operator you will set up and operate press brake equipment to bend, form, and shape metal components according to engineering drawings and production specifications. You will load materials, verify measurements, inspect finished parts, adjust machine settings, maintain quality standards, and support safe, efficient manufacturing operations while meeting production goals.

The Brake Press Operator is responsible for producing precision-formed metal components using press brake equipment and established manufacturing procedures. This role requires mechanical aptitude, technical judgment, and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
