Job Description

You will perform detailed inspections, interpret technical documentation, and validate system performance across a range of AC/DC voltages and industrial platforms.
Responsibilities
- Travel to customer and project sites to perform testing and verification of electrical control panels and components for quality assurance.
- Interpret and verify Bills of Materials (BoM) and electrical schematics to ensure panels and systems are built according to design specifications.
- Conduct electronic testing on control panels and systems, tracing wire origins and tags to confirm accuracy and proper labeling.
- Power up and test AC/DC systems up to 480V while strictly following OSHA and NEC safety protocols.
- Validate the operation of PLCs and instrument loops (4-20 mA), including transmitters, flow meters, and pressure, temperature, and level probes.
- Use industrial automation platforms such as Allen-Bradley and Schneider Electric for I/O testing and system validation.
- Identify nonconformities, submit corrective work orders, and follow up to ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces and strictly adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
- Work extended hours or weekends as needed to support production schedules and project deadlines.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve technical issues discovered during testing and inspection.
- At least 2 years of experience in instrumentation, panel fabrication, electrical quality inspections, or mid-range voltage testing (120 VAC-480 VAC).
- Hands-on experience with quality control and quality assurance in electrical or instrumentation environments.
- Proficiency in interpreting Bills of Materials (BoM) and electrical schematics.
- Ability to perform electronic testing and accurately trace wire origins and tags.
- Experience powering up and testing AC/DC systems up to 480V in compliance with OSHA and NEC safety protocols.
- Knowledge of PLCs and 4-20 mA instrument loops, including transmitters, flow meters, and pressure, temperature, and level probes.
- Familiarity with industrial automation platforms such as Allen-Bradley and Schneider Electric for I/O testing.
- Strong understanding of mid-range voltage testing practices and standards (120 VAC-480 VAC), including exposure to standards such as National Electric and CEC.
- Ability to identify, document, and escalate quality issues through corrective work orders.
- Willingness and ability to travel to various sites as required.
- Capacity to work extended hours or weekends based on production and project needs.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Experience with electrical quality inspections in panel fabrication or industrial environments.
- Exposure to mid-range voltage testing standards and practices, including National Electric, CEC, or similar frameworks.
- Experience in instrumentation systems, including calibration and verification of industrial sensors and probes.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills for recording test results and quality findings.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide clear feedback on quality issues.
