Must complete a pre-employment physical and drug test. Must pass pulmonary fitness test. Must complete power jack/forklift training course, Lock Out/Tag Out and Hazard Communication training courses. Must be able and available to work overtime as required.Job Summary: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as production demands may require:Essential Functions:Must obey all safety, USDA, HACCP, and the Company rules and regulations.Must know shop mathematics, able to interpret drawings, and be able to use tools required.Working knowledge of refrigeration Mechanically inclined with ability to utilize hand tools and testing equipmentObserve and record temperatures and pressures as requiredObserve air compressors and dryersMaintain hot water systemVariety of pipefitting and plumbing, work with PVC, galvanized, black and stainless pipe up to 4" dia.Keep compressor rooms and related areas cleanedPhysical requirements must be able to lift 50-70 lbs. on a consistent basis.Must have good communication skills (both written and oral).Must be able to work weekends and overtime.Communicating with management when there are concerns with the following:ProductionSafetyEmployee RelationsPerforms other related duties as assigned to support production demands as may be specified by customer or client. Also, perform other related duties as required by management.Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.Education: High school diploma or equivalent.Experience: Minimum of 6 months work related experience.Other Requirements: No other requirements.Working Conditions: High noise, varied temperatures (warm to cold), slippery floors, moving equipment and dust may be present.
