The position is open with respect to sub-field, with a preference for candidates whose teaching and research expertise are centered broadly in the area of corrections. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain an active program of research and contribute to the department's undergraduate and graduate programs. The standard teaching load is 2-2, with substantial involvement in graduate education, including graduate-level teaching, student mentoring and advising, and service as chair or member of graduate committees.Required QualificationsPh.D. in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a related field in hand by July 1, 2027. ABDs will be considered. Faculty also contribute to the interdisciplinary Ph.D. program in Social Psychology and Ph.D. program in Judicial Studies.
