Automation & Controls Engineer

Position Overview We are seeking Automation Engineers to support automation systems within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with Siemens PLCs, HMIs, utility skid automation, WFI systems, and controls troubleshooting. This role involves supporting facilities, utilities, equipment, and process automation systems, resolving controls and communication issues, assisting with system remediation activities, and supporting ongoing site modernization and operational readiness efforts. Experience in regulated manufacturing environments is required, and Rockwell experience is a plus. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Support automation systems for facilities, utilities, equipment, and manufacturing processes. Troubleshoot control system issues and resolve communication problems across site infrastructure. Assist with automation system upgrades, updates, and remediation activities. Provide support for HMI-based and standalone automation applications used on utility skids. Document automation changes, system updates, and technical findings. Collaborate with site engineering teams to support phase turnover and operational readiness activities. Required Skills Experience supporting automation systems in a regulated pharmaceutical or GMP manufacturing environment. Hands‑on experience with Siemens PLCs and HMI systems.
