Job Description
The Line Prep position plays a crucial role in supporting kitchen operations by preparing ingredients and ensuring all food items are ready for cooking. Working under the supervision of the Kitchen Manager, this role thrives in a fast-paced environment with rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, and often requires overtime during peak seasons.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and food items according to menu specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep area
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards rigorously
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Manage time efficiently to meet preparation deadlines
- Support Kitchen Manager with inventory and stock management as needed
- Adapt to rotating shifts and work overtime during peak periods
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in food preparation
- Strong knowledge of Food Safety practices
- Effective Time Management skills
- High Attention to Detail
- Proven ability to work well within a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Safeserv certification
