About the Position

Job Title: Medical Lab Technician Profession: Laboratory Specialty: Medical Lab Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: 2+ years of recent MLT experience required. License: Active Compact or State License required. Certifications: AHA BLS and ASCP or AMT required. Must-Have: Phlebotomy experience is required. Description: There is a potential to work some weekends, which will be discussed during the interview. Techs may need to perform phlebotomy tasks. Float is required within scope of practice. Flu vaccine is required, with no declinations accepted. Medical and religious exemptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis. All facilities work a schedule of 36/48 for the two-week pay period. Ratios can fluctuate with census and call-ins. Orientation occurs bi-weekly. Resource must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be considered. Assignment confirmation needs to be signed within 24 hours of an offer. Two references are required: one from a charge or higher and one from a supervisor, both completed within the last year. Travelers must accept an 84 hours over two weeks scheduling (one week 3x12, next week 4x12). RTO must be presented upfront, and no changes will be accepted. Travelers may only submit to one position at a time. Travel pairs will not be scheduled for the same shift or unit. Background policy requires any license hits or background check issues to be submitted upfront. After working one year, travelers must take a minimum six-month break before reapplying. Compliance deadline is the Monday prior to the desired start date.
